Matilda Holbrough

She married Will Clark from Winchcombe in 1889. He was a labourer in a Tan yard. They had one son, John Willoughby who was born there in September 1890.

Later the Clark family moved North to Goole in Yorkshire. Apparently it was Will who got his brother-in-law Charles a job on the Docks there.

On the 1901 Census for Wetherall Street, Goole, William is a Railway Porter with his wife , son and widowed mother-in-law, Jane Holbrough living with him.

Willoughby’s daughter Doreen was to marry her half cousin John Holbrough, son of Jim (son of Charles).
